We have been on tender hooks here at Snowgrass Merino Clothing as our shipment was due to depart New Zealand on Wednesday 18th August. But the Gods were against us as New Zealand went into a Level 4 lockdown at midnight the night before!
Unfortunately, for us, this meant that our shipment could not be collected from our suppliers as it is deemed "unessential industry" (we beg to differ on this point - Merino Wool is totally essential with autumn nearly upon us!). We have been watching the situation very closely and were delighted to wake up this morning to the news that from next Wednesday most regions of New Zealand will be moving to Level 3 and only Auckland staying at Level 4. So fingers crossed our shipment can start making it's way to us here in Dublin.
